![]() This is like a deity's Divine Blast attack, but instead of just 1 person it's a "pulse" that affects all near her. Also like her D20 counterpart, she has a mass "squamous blast" attack. Like her official D20 counterpart, she spawns 1d6 Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath (who themsevles are a hybrid of D20 and Pathfinder Dark Youngs) but like her 5e counterpart by Petersen she replaces any Dark Young she loses with a new one. She's mostly based on the D20 version of her, but mixed with my own creative re-design to make her feel more like how I believe she's supposed to be represented. No, this is NOT a Quake 1 module, this is more of a true-er Lovecraftian version of Shub-Niggurath. but you are alone in this adventure on R'lyeh, can you do it?Ģnd, "the Dark Mistress with a Thousand Young": Next up is my favorite Lovecraftian Entity, Shub-Niggurath (I have no idea why she's referred to as a Black Goat when she's a cloud-like creature). Defeat his staggered self and you have won against Cthulhu. He's back at full health, but no Star Spawn and not as deadly as before. However, like his Pathfinder counterpart, he has "2 rounds" Round 1 is at his strongest, win against this and he is "staggered". He is not alone, as he has his Star Spawn of Cthulhu with him (these Star Spawn are also a hybrid of D20's and Pathfinder's Star Spawn stats). Intermixing each of these official stats, with a splash of my own touch to it, makes it more feel like Lovecraft's take on Cthulhu. This one is based on the 3e D20 system, Pathfinder's 3e Cthulhu, and some aspects from Sandy Petersen's 5e Cthulhu. Below is a list of the horrors you will be facing, what they are drawn/based from, and the difficulty they each represent.ġst, "The Call of Cthulhu": I couldn't resist doing the famous Cthulhu as my first Lovecraftian Entity. No real storyline, just see if you can fight and defeat the horror. who has official stats! In fact, I made 3 modules, each with its own Lovecraftian Horror! Each of them requires the player to be Level 40. Realistically speaking, the Eldritch/Anime Ghidorah it should be as tough (to slightly tougher) than Cthulhu himself. So instead I tried making creatures who have official stats. In fact, I consider that and my other module no longer likeable as it used homebrew monsters, not officially statted monsters. ![]() My original monster, the Eldritch Ghidorah, in the "Test Your Might" module I made last year (seen here ) I no longer have on my computer because I no longer consider that iteration of Toho's Anime Ghidorah valid. During that time, I have experimented some more in NWN and tried making better monsters that I did before. If you time it right, you will tele-frag Shub-Niggurath and finish Quake.Hello and Happy Halloween NWN community! I know I have been gone for a LONG time, but the real world has kept me busy. That is the moment you should enter the teleporter. You will notice that the spiked ball is floating around the arena, occasionally going through Shub-Niggurath herself. Clear them all out and reach the teleporter. Instead, you will be fighting a bunch of Shamblers and Vores. I say fight in quotation marks since this is more of a matter of reaching a teleporter rather than actually fighting Shub-Niggurath. From here, you will be able to claim all of your remaining weapons and start the "fight" with Shub-Niggurath. Enter the lava portal and you’ll be greeted by a spiked ball. This section also has a Thunderbolt that I highly recommend picking up, it’ll make the "fight" much easier. You will be greeted by a couple of Rotfishs and a Scrag, which you should be able to take out with no issue, even with just the standard shotgun. After you have obtained all four, you will be able to enter Shub-Niggurath’s Pit. You’ll get one of them at the end of each Episode. In order to reach Shub-Niggurath, you must first obtain all four Runes. (please note level select seems to nullify some achievements, but using the command code work with no problems) When it goes through the boss, Shub-Niggurath, the barnacle, enter the teleporter. ![]() When you jump in the teleporter you will drop out where ever that spike creature is. How to kill the boss: The boss is the big barnacle looking thing on the island in the lava. You can just play this part or hit "noclip" and fly to the teleporter at the top of the stairs overlooking the boss creature. Here is the non-nightmare solution anyway: Hit the ~ key and type "map end" and now you will warp to the end end end boss, Shub-Niggurath's Pit. If you do the following on Nightmare, both achievements will unlock. There is no point in doing this one separately. XBOX PC PLAYER only GUIDE: I REALLY recommend you do this one on nightmare and go ahead and get that out of the way along with this one. ![]()
